Erling Haaland 'expects Chelsea transfer' but Blues against Mino Raiola clause request

Things appear to be bubbling back up a bit surrounding Chelsea’s heavily reported pursuit of Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Whilst things seem to be moving along very slowly, and nothing significant has occurred as of yet in terms of an offer, the heat is being turned up on this story and there are more and more positive reports turning up on it.

Positive of course if you are a Chelsea fan and want to see the club land Haaland this summer.

The latest report via The Transfer Window Podcast, sees Ian McGarry and Duncan Castles claim that Haaland ‘expects to join Chelsea’ before the new season begins.

They say that talks are advancing, but his agent Mino Raiola wants to insert a release clause in his contract at Chelsea, something they are not willing to do.

They say it is all down to how much they want to sign the striker this summer, and as also relayed by The Daily Mail, talks have been on since the start of June.
